Evaluation (concluding statement:judgement, opinion or recommendation. It consists of more than one paragraph)

Butterfly like a movie film dramas in Indonesia. There is nothing distinguishes between the Butterfly movie with the other teen drama. The equation of the film plays Indonesia today is in touching the audience with a display of a side party with death.

Like the teen drama only newly circulating about love take lane location of a lake and the dock and ends with death. So it is with Butterfly which took a similar location and similar endings.

Evaluative Summation (final opinion: the appraisal or the punchline of the film being criticized)

Butterfly is one of the best from the side of the story. Although using flashbacks plot, the story of Butterfly can still be followed. Unlike most local films are narrative stories like rabbits running jump.

PRO AND CONTRA

THE USE OF CALCULATORS DURING A PHYSICS: PRO AND CONTRA

Hello my friends,

First of all, please attention me. I would like to speak about ‘the use of calculators during a physics: pro and contra.’ calculator is one of technology that can help the learning process. But we know that many high sch

ool students who use calculators as a tool for calculating when the tests take place, so simply blocks the use of a calculator. However, in this discussion I would like to talk from different side.

To begin with, let me say that on one hand the use of calculators can simplify the calculation process. Let’s look at the fact about problems using a calculator at school during lessons or test.

When a school faces the problem of using calculator, the teacher should find ways to prevent the use of calculators.Use of calculator during a physics test is not too bad because using calculator can help the student to do their test become easier. Besides that, accuracy by using a calculator to count higher, calculators can help students to better concentrate on understanding and learning math concepts, can save time in order not to waste energy and mind, and not spend paper to calculate.

On the other hand, using calculator may cause many negative effects for student. The students become dependent on the use of a calculator so that students become lazy to count manually. Besides that, using calculators hinder learners in discovering and understanding the concept of mathematical concepts. Use of calculators can indirectly deceive and numeric skills of students will decrease. Calculator can also prevent students to obtain one important benefit of learning math is to train and discipline the mind and promote logical reasoning.

So far, using a calculator to the students in the habit of doing the test. On one hand, it can simplify the calculation but on the other hand, it can make students become dependent with the use of a calculator.

POSITIVE POINTS:

  • using calculator can help the student to do their test become easier.
  • accuracy by using a calculator to count higher
  • calculators can help students to better concentrate on understanding and learning math concepts
  • can save time in order not to waste energy and mind
  • not spend paper to calculate.

NEGATIVE POINTS:

  • the students become dependent on the use of a calculator
  • students become lazy to count manually
  • using calculators hinder learners in discovering and understanding the concept of mathematical concepts
  • use of calculators can indirectly deceive and numeric skills of students will decrease.
  • Calculator can also prevent students to obtain one important benefit of learning math is to train and discipline the mind and promote logical reasoning.

In conclusion, for all these reasons we say that using calculators many positive and negative effects. When we use calculators are not too bad but we should not depend on the use of a calculator.

Text Explanation

LANDSLIDES

Soil erosion is a geological event that occurs because of the fall of the movement of the ground like a big lump of rock or soil which is also a natural phenomenon that occurs in the mountains surrounding the area. The steeper the area, the greater the possibility of landslides. All the material on the slopes of the earth have a point where these materials will remain stable.

Landslide occurs when the top layer of earth and stones apart from the main part of the mountain or hill. This usually occurs because of high rainfall, earthquakes, or volcanic eruptions. In some cases, the exact cause is unknown. Landslides can occur because of natural faults and the weather on the soil and rocks. These cases are mainly in humid and hot climate like in Indonesia. When the landslide happens the top layer of the earth starts to slide freely on the slopes and take the momentum in this slide, so the launch will be faster (up to about 30 meters / second). A large volume of soil and mud slides is that damages homes, destroy buildings and sweeps man in seconds.

Although landslides are natural phenomena, some human activities could be a factor causing the landslide, when these activities resonate with vulnerability and natural conditions that have been mentioned. Examples of these human activities are haphazard felling trees on the slope area, quarry rocks, soil or other minerals which cause slope instability, pumping and draining groundwater that cause the decline of groundwater levels, changing the flow of canal water from its natural path, leakage in water pipe that changes structures (including the pressure in the soil) and the level of soil wetness and rocks, changing the slope of the area (such as the construction of roads), and excessive loading of the buildings in the hills.

The building that is located on the mountain slopes can be at risk of landslide disasters. If the landslide happens, the house can be hit by a big rocks or buried in soil on a large enough scale. As a result, the house and its contents are damaged. The disaster also claims the lives of human bias in that house who do not have time to escape.
